St. Louis, Missouri is one of the largest cities in the Midwest. The long and rich history of St. Louis started way back in 1793 when it was founded by colonial French traders. It used to be part of the Spanish Empire but was sold to the United States in 1803 by Napoleon Bonaparte who was the leader of France at that time.
