What is a fact? It is something that exists. A fact is something that can be actually verified or proven based on evaluations following established standards.

Fact was derived from thr Latin word, Factum. Its earliest meaning in the English language is "a thing done or performed". Today, this meaning is already obsolete.

A fact may indicate a stipulation or allegation. It may also provide indications for findings that are derive though an evaluation process.

The word fact covers a very large variety of concepts or ideas.
